Occasionally, instead of a human’s form changing to that of a new race, an animal’s form is gifted the spark of humanity. Unfortunately, the mechanism for this transformation is still wholly unknown. The resultant races carry the same sentience as humans but carry some beastlike traits from the animals from which they were derived.
