The Fifth Prosperous Empire of the Sundom (Sundom, for short) was an empire of hundreds of vassal states, spread across the majority of an arm of the Astra. The empire was founded out of the ruins of the Fourth Sundom, with the single goal of the total annihilation of the Thessians.
While it was unsuccessful in achieving its goal, the many, desperate, attempts made to create weaponry capable of killing a Thessian litter the Astra. These remnants are often pivotal to the power struggles between the fractured vassals of the fallen empire in the political vacuum it left.
